Meet 12 Yr Old Jamila: Author and CEO of Her Own Company

At just 12 years old, Jamila Thompson is the CEO and founder of her own company. She started Rub a Dub Spa Parties for Kids, Inc. Not only does she own her own company but she is also a published author. She may only be in the 7th grade but she has accomplished things that adults could only dream of doing. Thompson sat down for an interview with HelloBeautiful.com and spoke about her business and what the idea behind it was.

When Jamila was just 7 years old she went to a spa party with her mother. She loved it so much that she told her mother that she wanted to do that for her birthday. Her mother took care of everything and she ended up having the best time. She had 22 girls come over and they all had a day of pampering that included pedicures, manicures, facials, massages, and had their make-up done. After they were all primped and pampered they put on a fashion show. Jamila told her mother that she wanted to throw parties like this all the time for other girls and so the company was born.
