RHOA’s Phaedra Parks May Be Leaving Her Husband, But Not Her Reality Show
Rumors have been swirling for some time that Phaedra Parks is leaving her incarcerated husband, Apollo Nida, but she’s not leaving Real Housewives of Atlanta.
TMZ reports that Phaedra is back at work filming episodes of RHOA and she isn’t taking any time off to deal with her husband’s incarceration.
Apparently both Phaedra and Apollo filmed as much as they could before he was sentenced to prison for eight years.
Phaedra’s storyline during this season of RHOA centers on Apollo preparing to go away to prison and how it’s impacting their family.
Although Phaedra may miss some filming to deal with family issues, she’ll definitely remain a RHOA cast member, TMZ reports.
During a recent radio interview, Apollo seemed to concede that his marriage to Phaedra is on the rocks, pointing to the fact that his wife didn’t even show up for his sentencing.
“I doubt [that my marriage will survive this],” Apollo said during an interview with B100 Radio. “My wife didn’t even f—ing show up for my sentencing. I’m still kind of salty about that.”
Most of all though, Apollo seems to regret what he’s putting his son through.
“It’s hell—hell on wheels. I’ve asked God to forgive me and I’ve forgiven myself. I had to move on […] I just really had to bite down. I was going through so much. It doesn’t make you less of a man to cry and shed tears. I’ve just really been upset at just how I was raised and that I could possibly be taking my son through the same thing. But by the grace of God, he’s still young and we have many years ahead of us. For me, I just can’t make the same mistakes.”
