Just three weeks after she was found in her bathtub, unresponsive, Bobbi Kristina Brown is still in the fight of her life.
Doctors at an Atlanta, GA. hospital have removed her breathing tubes, two sources told CNN on Thursday morning, one day after her medical procedure took place.
Brown, who is the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, is now being ventilated through a hole in her throat.

“This is an indication that the patient will need this for weeks and months to come, as opposed to hours and days,” said CNN’s chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta.
He said that this move will lower the risk of infection and is standard procedure.
Brown, 21, has remained in a medically induced coma at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Doctors are still attempting to slowly lift her from the coma, according to a family source.

Police have said that Brown’s case is being treated as a criminal investigation. She was found in a bathtub full of water on January 31st at her residence in Roswell, GA by her husband and close friend.

Brown’s mother, Whitney Houston, who passed in 2012, was found in a bathtub, just hours before she was said to attend the Pre-Grammy party for Clyde Davis. A coroner ruled that Houston’s death was an accidental drowning, with heart disease and cocaine use listed as the factors contributing to her early passing. There is no evidence of drug use involving Brown.
