CA Teen Sues Her Alleged “Jock” R@pists and Entire School District

A California teen says that she was raped repeatedly by three of the football players at the high school she attended. Adding insult to injury, the 15-year-old says that the boys recorded the assaults and distributed the images to her classmates. And if matters couldn’t get any worse, the over 100 students who viewed the recordings began taunting and bullying the young girl at school.

Now, the sophomore has filed a civil suit against the three boys who she alleges attacked her. The suit also names the Culver City Unified School District. She said that the school district should have had cameras in place to better monitor activities on the campus of the high school, which is where the rape allegedly took place. Likewise, she feels that the school’s officials could have done more to discourage the girl’s classmates from stigmatizing and bulling her.

The victim, who is named in the complaint as ‘A.S.,’ says that the three boys invited her to skip school and hang with them in the parking lot of the campus. She says the boys repeatedly raped her between Dec. 4 and Dec. 22 of 2013. The victim said that the boys recorded their attacks and sent them to their friends, accusing the girl of being promiscuous. The girl was a virgin and only fourteen-years-old when the attacks took place.

The girls said that the taunting from other students was so bad, she decided to transfer to another school to escape the vicious ridicule and embarrassment her attackers caused her.

One of the attackers, Jeremy Weaver, has pled no contest to the charges, and is now serving five years of probation. The other two boys have not yet been tried. The victim’s guardian and attorney said that they are seeking financial damages at this point, in addition to criminal prosecution.
