Solange Is Still Pissed That Beyoncé Didn’t Win The ‘Album of the Year’ & Others Are Too!

After her megastar big sister, Beyoncé, failed to take home the gold just this past Sunday for Album of the Year at this year’s Grammy Awards, singer and songwriter Solange took to her social media sites to tweet what some would consider to be a radical suggestion of just how to make sure that the Knowles family is never forced to sit through another disappointing night like the one on February 12th.
“Create your own committees, build your own institutions, give your friends awards, award yourself, and be the gold you wanna hold, my Gs,” she wrote.
While her tweet has since been deleted, a number of users saved and reposted her remarks in favor of what she’d suggested.
“Sad Solange deleted her apt Grammys criticism but here it is again: ‘create your own commitees… award yourself.'”

Social media users have also preserved her earlier co-sign of a Tumblr post from another popular singer, Frank Ocean, where the Blonde singer, who’d chosen to sit out of this year’s award show, took the event’s producer and writer to task for suggesting that he’d skipped out of the show due to alleged poor quality of his 2013 performance.
He was invited to perform only after coming out as Bi-Sexual.

Both of the famous sister’s took home several Grammy Awards for best urban contemporary album and best R&B performance, however, Solange wasn’t the only one to critique the way that things seemed to go down at the popularly televised award show.
He then answered his own question by saying, “it’s where the white man puts the incomparable pregnant black woman because he is so threatened by her talent, power, persuasion and potential.”
After winning the album of the year, Adele hinted during her speech that she thought Beyoncé deserved the award more than her. She went on to say, “But my artist of my life is Beyoncé and this album, for me, the Lemonade album, was just so monumental.”
So, what are your thoughts on this news? Think Solange and many others have every right to be upset?
