Beyoncé Announces Coachella Cancellation & People Are P!ssed

Beyoncé’s famous Instagram post of her baby bump full of twins did raise questions, however, after her beautifully done Grammy’s performance this year, it sure did seem a bit unlikely.
Now it has been made clear, Bey is pregnant with two babies and has since confirmed that she will NOT be performing at Coachella this year.
In a statement made by Beyoncé’s company, Parkwood Entertainment, as well as Goldenvoice, the promoters of the famous festival did make it clear that the Queen pulled out of the event, “following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months,” the statement said, according to The Associated Press.
“However,” the statement continued, “Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”
Bey’s booking, which was announced in early January, was a huge shock to Coachella attendees, because this was the first time that a major celebrity of her caliber was booked for the Coachella event in the last 18 years of it’s existence. It was also one of the very few times that a woman was selected to headline the show.
However, her involvement was put into question when Beyoncé took to her Instagram three weeks ago to announce that she was expecting again, which was a move that had apparently caught Coachella organizers off guard.
The event, which is scheduled for the weekends of April 14-16 and 21-23 will be featuring Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar as their headliners. Goldenvoice still has yet to announce whether they will have a replacement for Bey, and reps of the company haven’t responded to the news of Bey’s cancellation just yet.
