Officer Sends Victim A Cake That Reads “Sorry I Tased You” & She Is Now Suing Him

A Florida woman is now suing one local sheriff’s deputy who’d allegedly shot her with a stun gun during what had been described as “horseplay” at an apartment complex. He’d later attempted to apologize for the situation by baking her a cake that read, “Sorry I Tased You.”
Stephanie Byron of Pensacola now claims that the deputy in question, Michael Wohlers, showed up at the apartment complex where she’d worked after his shift back in June of 2015.
Wohlers is said to have been a bully toward Byron and some of the other staff members, then shot her in the chest with the stun gun only after the two had gotten into an argument over a glass of sweet tea.
Byron’s complaint alleged that the deputy had jumped on her after she’d fell to the ground, she also says that he’d placed his knees into her chest, and forcefully yanked the Taser from her flesh, according to a report in the Pensacola News Journal.
In the federal lawsuit, Byron is now charging Wohlers with using excessive force, violating her rights, committing battery and she is even accusing him of causing hardship and mental anguish.
She wants compensation for damages and attorney’s fees.
According to the suit, Wohlers later took it upon himself to attempt to apologize by making a cake with the phrase, “Sorry I Tased You” written in icing.
This story all seems to be a bit sketchy and many are unsure as to what had really went down.
