Solange Knowles recently released her new album, ‘A Seat At The Table,’ just this past Friday and by the judging of how celebrities are talking about it via social media, it appears that the songstress has created a beautiful masterpiece.
Being her fourth studio album, the youngest Knowles sister took about four years to perfect the work. It boasts a total of 21 tracks, featuring special quests such as Lil’ Wayne, Kelela, Q-Tip, The Dream, Dev Hynes and Kelly Rowland.
Knowles’ last EP came out in 2012, it was titled ‘True.’
In a released press statement, Knowles described her work of art as “a project on identity, empowerment, independence, grief, and healing.”
She’d even gotten more personal about it on her 30th birthday, in an Instagram post announcing that she’d finally completed it just hours before the milestone celebration.
“Don’t eveeer let anyone write your story for you,” she captioned the post, after giving a timeline of her lifetime milestones. “They can talk, they can doubt, and they can say what they wanna, but only you have the words to narrate this ting we call life. So much gratitude for all of your wishes. So much gratitude for love. So much gratitude for freedom. So much gratitude for life. ”
The stars, meanwhile, have been buzzing with excitement.
“Congrats to my sister on creating this beautiful work of art,” Beyoncé wrote on Instagram. “I could not be more proud of you @saintrecords. A Seat At The Table is available today!”
“Go Awwwwf,” Missy Elliott wrote on Twitter. “I’m souped up & Supa proud of u sis!”
“Solange album beautiful,” said Calvin Harris. “Also God bless Raphael Saadiq for the vibes my favorite producer of all time.”
“Solange just gives me icon vibes all day…” said Kat Graham.
“I think we all know our plan for the weekend. Beautiful, @saintrecords,” said Lena Dunham.

Tracee Ellis Ross shared her love for her pal. “So much #BlackGirlMagic,” she wrote. “I just love you @SaintRecords!!”
Meanwhile, the greatest shoutout came from her mother, Tina Knowles:
“Well the album is out on iTunes!” the matriarch captioned a photo of Solange’s album cover. “It is a must hear record! Please get it and tell me your favorite songs. I wonder will it match my favorite songs. It’s hard to pick but soo far ‘Cranes in the sky’ and ‘Mad.’ Don’t miss out on your ‘Seat at the table’ uh oh just added ‘Don’t touch my hair’ it’s soo beautiful!”
