A Tribe Called Quest Will Perform On SNL With Secret Special Guest

After giving away a huge announcement that the members of A Tribe Called Quest were dropping another album, more news has come forward that the group is also planning their first performance since the passing of their bandmate, Phife Dawg.
According to Billboard, ATCQ is planning to appear on the iconic sketch-comedy show, Saturday Night Live on November 12th. This will make for their first time that the crew will perform on SNL and it will take place only a day after the group releases their sixth and final musical project.
There is allegedly a special guest that will be performing alongside Q-Tip, Jarobi White and DJ Ali Shaheed Muhammad, however, the name of the artist has yet to be revealed.
Last week, rapper Q-Tip announced that ATCQ will be dropping their final album in tribute to the passing of their beloved band member who’d died earlier in the year after dealing with complications related to his diabetes.
“No this isn’t filled with old Phife bars,” Tip wrote on his Facebook page. “This is that pure, unstepped on pure! He left us with the blue print of what we had to do,” he continued. “We completed what will be, obviously, the final A Tribe Called Quest album.”
We are all super excited and can’t wait to see this performance. What are your thoughts? Are you anxious about this group taking the stage once again?
