The 46th NAACP Image Awards righted a few wrongs in the eyes of those who felt “Selma” and “How to Get Away with Murder” was snubbed by other awards shows.

The movie about the civil rights protests of the 60’s took home top film honors. In accepting the award, “Selma” producer and actress Oprah Winfrey said “We did this movie because we wanted to tell their story — our story.” Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture….we can all breathe a sigh of relief…was awarded to David Oyelow0.
