An actress who appeared on The Cosby Show is accusing Bill Cosby of Cosby-on-stage-620x264inappropriate behavior.

Helen Gumpel, who appeared on an episode of The Cosby Show in 1988, accuses Cosby of making unwanted sεxual advances toward her while on the set of the show.

According to the Associated Press, Gumpel, formerly Helen Selby, was called back to the set for what she thought was another audition. Once she arrived, Gumpel said she was brought to Cosby’s dressing room where he had her sit on the couch, then offered her a drink. She then claims Cosby stood in front of her making sεxual gestures.

“I never thought of myself as a victim because I refused his advances,” Gumpel said. “But my career was a victim.”

Gumpel made her allegations at a news conference.

Cosby’s attorney Marty Singer has not responded to the most recent allegation, but did previously respond to allegations from at least 15 other women. The strategy began with Cosby’s team ignoring the allegations, then took on a more offensive posture.

“Over the last several weeks, decade-old, discredited allegations against Mr. Cosby have resurfaced,” read a November, 2014 statement. “The fact that they are being repeated does not make them true. Mr. Cosby does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment.”

Later, however, Page Six reported that Cosby’s team launched a strategy to combat the allegations.

“The strategy isn’t new and it’s quite simple: You say I’m a bad guy, well, let’s see what gives you the right to throw a stone at my house when your home is also made of glass,” said a source.
