It’s been a while now since rumors started that Tamar Braxton and Vincent Herbert’s relationship isn’t exactly a healthy one. To be specific, there is gossip going around that there is domestic violence involved in the marriage.

In an interview with Angela Yee of Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club“, Braxton talked about her career, her marriage and addressed the rumors head on.

Yee asked her straight out about how people were “trying to put out these rumors that you and Vince get into these drag-down fights. And I read that on a couple of different sites. Do you want to address that?”

Tamar asked back, “Where do they come from? I ain’t that chick. We ain’t getting ready to just guff every day, like. No, I ain’t got time for that. I’m booked.”

To answer that question one would have to go back to last year when, in another interview with Ebony.com, Tamar had admitted to having been in two previous abusive relationships before getting married to Herbert. Once, one of her ex-boyfriends had even dragged her out of her apartment by her hair.

At the time, she had also explained that the domestic violence rumors in her current marriage had been started by her brother-in-law Gabe because he “wanted to take the heat off of himself.”

In the current interview and in light of the latest Ray Rice controversy, she was asked if she would return to Herbert if he did the same thing to her.

“I can’t see it and you know what. The reason why I can’t is because I’ve been an abusive relationship before, like a for real, for real abusive relationship. I am not that girl who you’re just going to hit on. So when people ask me those questions or allegedly say things like that it’s just like, ‘Chile sit down and have several seats because, no.'”

As for those that were still continuing to spread the rumors she had these choice words to say: “Heifers say stuff that don’t know me.”
