New Film Alert: But Will Omari Hardwick, Nelly & Terry Crews Reach You? | The Reel Network
Reach Me appears to be a film about several characters that are connected by a self-help book written by a football coach called – you guessed it – Reach Me. The stars we anticipate seeing are Sylvester Stallone, Kyra Sedgwick, Kevin Connelly, Terry Crews, Thomas Jane, Danny Aiello, and Tom Berenger, who head the cast. Each member has a specific role assumed to obtain a quality or characteristic that someone can relate to.
The movie is presumed to be a comedy and drama, but from the looks of the trailer, it has a very serious tone. While comedy has been successfully integrated with drama before, this one looks like an inspirational film. It looks as though it is jam-packed with morals and lessons to teach the audience about life, hope and faith. Most importantly, the main message from the trailer appears to inform you that you are in control of your life, no matter how bad the situation is.
The movie is directed and written by John Hertzfeld, who is known for his win of the Directors Guild of America Award and an Emmy nomination for his HBO film Don King: Only In America. The film was nominated for two Golden Globes. He also won the Critics Choice Award, the Writers Guild of America Award, and the Peabody Award, the most prestigious honor in the film industry. His other works Two of a Kind, 2 Days in the Valley, 15 Minutes and The Death and Life of Bobby Z.
