“Spoken Like a True White Guy,” Whoopi Goldberg Tells Conservative Host

By  |  247 Comments

During a heated exchange on “The View,” Whoopi Goldberg and conservative guest host Will whoopi-rantCain debated criticism that actor and comedian Russell Brand received for calling out Fox News.

According to Cain, this was just part of a trend where people become outraged at mere words. That idea was met with resistance from Goldberg who noted how words have often been used in this country to cause pain.

“I think it’s part of this whole trend we have. We elevate words to the most harmful thing in society. How dare you say something that could offend somebody?” Cain said. “How dare you say something that hυrts my feelings? Why have we gone to this place where words are the worst thing?”

“Let me tell you why,” Goldberg answered.  “Because we have a history of utilizing words to harm people and hυrt people who have been on the other side of it. I think are at the point where they’re saying, this is not okay anymore.”

Then Cain recalled an old adage that cautioned people against allowing themselves to be harmed by words.

“There was a time when it was sticks and stones can break your bones but your words cannot hυrt me,” Cain said.

Then Goldberg brought up the Redskins controversy, saying that people have the right to get upset over words.

“We’ll all be out of business, we’ll all stop talking,” Cain said. “Everybody’s offended all the time, from the Fighting Irish to the Redskins. Everyone’s offended.”

“That is spoken like a true white guy,” Goldberg said.

“Maybe, that’s what I am,” Cain shοt back.

“And I don’t mean it in a bad way,” Goldberg said. “But have you had the experience where … your (relatives) said, you know, when I first came here this is what they did to me and this is how they treated me and this what they said to me and this is what called me?”

“No, I’ve not had that experience,” Cain said.

“That’s the difference,” Goldberg concluded.

Spoken like a true racist who can get away with saying that. How do you use racism to defend racism, she probably sees no problem with it.

Oh Kevin, go scratch your ass somewhere else. She was not using racism to combat racism. She was stating facts. White people see nothing wrong with saying outrageous racist things. And that is a KNOWN FACT. Which is why she said it. And he said well maybe that’s what he is. If you saw the show, you saw how he dismissed ANYTHING racist or insulting as JKUST GET OVER IT. Just like those white devils want everyone to JUST GET OVER slavery. And just get over discrimination with regards to housing and education and voting and to get over the fact that police can pull someone to the side just because they looks suspicious. Get over it little dick white boy, people like you have no place on this earth.
