Mom Regrets Sharing Images of Children On Social Media After Viewing Derogatory Meme

A Virginia mom reported that a stranger posted a photo of her three children with a derogatory caption on Instagram without her knowledge.
Ciara Logan says she used to enjoy sharing photos of her children on her social media accounts of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram; however, a local television affiliate reports that Logan’s shock at seeing her own kids on a meme that has gone viral brought all of that to an end.
“This has taught me a lesson,” Logan told the news station.
Logan is an information technology specialist and the mother of an 8-year-old boy and twin 2-year-old girls. She noticed a stranger liked one of the photos she posted on Instagram. She said she then went and viewed his page, where she saw a photo of her children featured as a meme with a caption declaring, “Harpo just won’t let them girls be.”
“To insinuate that my son is a pimp—or that my son is selling cars—because he has on a suit and he has two little girls with him—or to hashtag, ‘Keep him away from those girls,’ as if to say my son is a predator,” she said. “He’s an 8-year-old boy who is very caring, very loving, very nourishing, very protective of his sisters.”

Logan tried to contact the page’s owner, seeking to have the photo removed; however, the poster blocked her, made his profile private and changed his user name.
“To have someone display my grandchildren with so much negative connotations and distastefulness … I was just in awe, and it needs to stop,” the children’s grandmother Louise Logan said.
The mother reached out to Instagram to see what could be done and was told to remove the photos of her children—all of them—to prevent future episodes.
Logan made her accounts private. She urges parents to be cautious when posting photos of their children.
“Share them with the ones you love via text message,” Logan warned. “Get a page that is for family only, and private your page.”

Anastasia is a stellar example of one of the WORST problems in the black community…the way many of us are so consumed by self hatred & jealousy that we rip each other up for no good reason. There is nothing wrong with that photo ! An 8 year old boy & his 2 little sisters. Back in the day I saw many photos like that taken after church programs where we kids performed, school programs, birthday parties, etc. Maybe Anastasia grew up in an area where such civilized family oriented activities were either nonexistent or were rejected, so out of pure meanspiritedness she decided to attack a loving mother’s innocent children. How very very SAD.

That IS SAD(for this Anastasia to make such a comment).
She just may be a person who has been abused, could be hiding something about herself or someone else OR is JEALOUS because she has never experience such REAL brotherly love!
NOTE: That’s the kind of **** my family lived across the street from before we moved(voluntarily)!
This bunch is affilliated with the police station (15th district), where people in custody were RAPED in the BASEMENT of that police station!
This Anastatia is a cruel person and does NOT know love for if she had any inkling of what it is, she would have at least recognized it in this lady’s WONDERFUL story about her 8 year old son and her twin girls.
May God continue to bless her and her children and keep her encouraged to STAND UP for what’s right(as she did in this case)!

Haven’t you all figured out what this ANASTASIA person is all about. Come on now, think about it – she (or he) responds negatively to a lot of the articles written on this site and often insights anger and gets lots of reaction and feedback directed specifically to her.
