Man arrested for offering a salad in exchange for sexx

Alonzo Liverman was in the mood to have a little fun with a “woman of the night”. Unfortunately for Liverman he didn’t have any money. He did have something that he thought she would go for and it ended up getting him arrested. Instead of offering up money for the woman’s services, he offered up a salad. Instead he got a ride to the nearest jail.

The 29 year old Florida man seemed to think that the woman’s free time was for sale. Instead, he found out that he had actually tried to trade up salad for intimacy with an undercover police officer. He was arrested immediately. The police were conducting an undercover sting that had lasted all day. Also arrested on solicitation charges were a man named Michael Jackson and former NBA draft pick Tim Pickett. Pickett had been a star at Florida State University before he was picked up in the second round of the NBA draft in 2004.

A salad, sadly, is not the strangest thing that someone has offered up for sexx. A woman in Philly really wanted to go see a Phillies game, so she put an ad up on Craigslist to trade physical intimacy for tickets to a game. An undercover officer was sent to her house and she was arrested. There was also a woman who offered to sleep with someone if they would give her gold for the online game World of Warcraft. She posted on Craigslist as well and received a lot of backlash from other players for obtaining prizes in the game in an unethical way. Other women have traded themselves for food such as chicken McNuggets and cheeseburgers.

Solicitation is a misdemeanor crime, so the men probably won’t spend too much time in jail.  However, they hopefully will have learned a valuable lesson.
