On December 22, 1985, a 10-year-old Serena Geiger learned of her aunt and 5-year-old cousin’s brutal deαths. Her Aunt Suzanne was just 29-years-old when she was stαbbed to deαth by her husband, John Ruthell Henry. Suzanne’s son Eugene was killëd in the αttack as well. Geiger has a box full of photographs and memories of her aunt and her cousins.

Serena’s grandmother started the box of memories and kept piling more in the box throughout her life. When she died, Geiger took over the box and continued to add articles and photos as she found them. The last article that she placed in the box was about Henry’s execution. She said that she could finally close the box for good. She was free from having to contact the state and the prison frequently to make sure that Henry would never be free and that his deαth sentence would be carried out as planned.

On Wednesday, June 18, Henry was executed by lethal injection. Geiger said watching him take his last breath was the justice that she needed to see. Henry was 63 and executed at a Florida State Prison. He refused to have a last meal that is traditional with deαth row inmates. He also refused to eat the regular daily meals that were given. The process started at 7:30pm after the U.S. Supreme Court denied his final appeal for a stay of execution.

The final words that came out of Henry’s mouth before the drugs were injected were an apology. He said that he was sorry to everyone that he hurt. He also stated that he knew that there was nothing that he could do to undo the pain and heartache the Geiger family felt because of his actions. He then asked for forgiveness.

I’m so sorry your family had to endure all this pain of losing loved ones, especially by the hands of a family member. Peace be with you always.

No! None of us know where Henry is going in the afterlife. Only God can judge him. Learn to forgive or you may go the same place you think Henry is going. Sad thing is he may have received forgiveness from God and go to heaven while you’re hating him and holding onto hate in your heart and end up in hell.

The Bible says that we should forgive so that God may forgive us.
Some have been forgiven(because they appear to be apologetic), but what is a person to do, when you forgive that person and then see that that person is STILL living a life that is not showing that they are apologetic for their bad behaviors?
That is a hard pill for soem to swallow, for it makes them feel that they are a fool.
ACTUALLY, the person who tries to PREY on another because they are forgiving and humble(first they are NOT nieve), are the FOOLS!
God will have a place for them(as well)!
