According to Rudy Rasmus (pictured), the minister who officiated Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z’s 2008 wedding and the leading minister at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas, Beyoncé entertainer is an “incredible human being.”

Of course Rasmus would say that because Beyoncé and her family have donated millions of dollars to his church and his non-profit ministry, Bread of Life, Inc. — as the saying goes, it’s not good to bite the hand that feeds you.

Rasmus claims that he intentionally doesn’t read the tabloids who report on the controversial things that the famous singer is doing in her life because he knows that she is a good person at heart and has done a lot of work for charity. He adds that Beyoncé has been a long standing member of his congregation who used to sing right there at their altar when she was young.

Just recently, the megachurch pastor, with over 10,000 members, defended some of the lyrics in Beyoncé’s music after they had been criticized for contradicting the purity of Christianity. Beyoncé is an artist who is expected to entertain people and whichever way she chose to entertain those people, it doesn’t mean that is a reflection of her lifestyle, he said.
