Are pastors afraid to criticize their congregations?

According to Charles Obadiah Baldwin, founding pastor of Crossroad Baptist Church, Pensacola, Florida, the reason many pastors don’t speak up about the sinful world that we live in is because they are afraid they will lose their popularity and success if they do.

The former presidential nominee in the 2008 U.S. elections for the Constitution Party went on to say that pastors are taught while they are studying in college or Bible seminary that success in their ministry means everything. He adds that in the way they act, dress, talk and think, most pastors fit the profile of successful CEO’s rather than spiritual ministers of their flock.
