Columbus Short reportedly violated his restraining order 6 times

Actor Columbus Short appears to be falling apart at the seams lately, and it’s messier because it’s all happening in public.  Short was once a highly-paid, highly-respected star of the most popular show on television, and now he’s falling from grace faster than anyone would have ever expected.

The former Scandal star lost his job after being accused of domestic violence by his estranged wife.  He also went onto The Tom Joyner Morning Show and gave a bizarre interview in which he referred to Tom using the n-word.  This was right before he was officially dropped from the show.

Short has had a restraining order filed against him by his estranged wife Tanee McCall-Short, ordering him to avoid contacting her or coming into her physical space.  This was compounded by Short hauling off in public and punching a man at a bar, making him look ever more violent.

But it gets worse.  TMZ is reporting that Short has been violating the restraining order almost as if it never existed in the first place.  The actor has reportedly violated the order a stunning six times since it was filed, and no one seems to know why.

Tanee’s attorneys are asking that the temporary order be made permanent, since they believe that their client’s life might be in danger.   The order has been extended to July 30th.

Short started making news after he allegedly put a knife to his wife’s neck, threatening a murder/suicide.

Maybe he needs some help.  Let’s hope that he gets it.
