A tech CEO who was once featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show as an eligible bachelor had faced 45 felony charges for pummeling his girlfriend, but as has become custom in this country, his wealth saved him from going to prison.

RadiumOne CEO Gurbaksh “G” Chahal ended up pleading guilty to misdemeanor domestic v¡olence charges after video from his San Francisco apartment allegedly showed him brµtally beatιng his girlfriend, hιtting and kicking her over 117 times.

Such a crime would’ve landed most people in jail, but Chahal, who not long ago sold his company for over $300 million dollars, was sentenced to only three years probation, 52 weeks in a domestic v¡olence training program, and 25 hours of community service.

As Valley Wag notes, being a woman beater hasn’t dimmed Chahal’s rising star at all:
