Although 90 percent of the more than 1,500 Christians taking part in a new study conducted by the Evangelical Alliance said that they read their Bible regularly, only 31 percent of the respondents said that they actually give God a specific time each day in prayer.

According to the study, titled “Time for discipleship,” 42 percent of the respondents said that they had difficulties with setting aside a certain amount of time each day in prayerful thought to their Lord, but 87 percent of them agreed that they should, in fact, be doing just that, as well as reading the Word of God.
