The singer “The Dream” (aka Terius Nash) is in big trouble after an alleged assault on his pregnant girlfriend.  Police are saying that the NYPD is looking for the singer over an incident that occurred back in April, 2013 at the Plaza Hotel in New York.

About three months before Lydia Nam was set to give birth, it is alleged that the singer punched, kicked and strangled the woman in a fit of rage.

For some reason, Lydia didn’t file the police report until November of last year and there is no indication of whether or not she received medical attention.

TMZ says that a source tells them that the allegations are merely the rantings of an angry woman who is seeking revenge against the singer.  They also say that by making the false accusation, she can extend her visa in the US.

But this isn’t the first domestic violence situation that The Dream has been involved in.  He was arrested after a fight last June that involved Nam, but she chose not to press charges.

The singer currently has five children:  Three with his first wife Nivea, a daughter with his second wife Christine and a son with Nam.  He is also known for making hits for many of the biggest artists in the world.  So, he has a lot to lose if the police have any evidence to support their claim.
