Cat fighting is never cute, especially if it happens in public.  But celebrity beefs will never go away, and this one is international.  Two African superstars are going after each other in public, each of them claiming that the other is a victim of white supremacy.  Lupita Nyong’o is the darling of Hollywood, and has inspired millions with her beautiful dark skin and powerful self-confidence.

Her rival is Nigerian pop star Dencia, who created the skin-whitening cream called “Whitenicious,” which she says “removes dark spots.”  But based on her photographs, it looks like she thinks her entire body is one big dark spot.

During her Oscar acceptance speech, Nyong’o talked about a girl who wrote her a letter claiming that she thought about using the product to whiten her skin.

“My heart bled a little when I read those words,” she said after discussing the letter in public.

But Dencia has been using social media to go after Nyong’o, stating that she is less than impressed with her public appearances.

“Every year the Oscars use 1 black scape goat 2 fool blacks 2 support them, this is ur year, next year another black person get over urselves,” she said on Twitter.

“& oh @Lupita_Nyongo cln’t talk abt the bleaching creams white people (Companies) make cuz the white man pays her, they own her!!”

After hearing that Lupita signed a deal with Lancome, a company that makes beauty products, Dencia pointed out that this company also sells skin-whitening cream.

“But they sell bleaching cream tho RT @IamNappyBaby@IamDencia b—h lupita is the new face of Lancôme!! SHE WINS!! And you’re just TRASH,” Dencia tweeted Friday.

Lancome’s Blanc Expert, is described by the company as “the latest brightening technology designed to regulate melanin production and awaken the luminosity of the skin.”

What do you think?  Does this make Lupita look hypocritcal?
