New “On Angel’s Wings” Film Strives to Change Perception of Black Men

“On Angel’s Wings,” a new Christian film that attempts to portray African-American men in a more favorable light than the usual criminal roles that they are represented in, is set to be released this summer.

The film, directed by an African-American director named Aaron Williams, will feature the African-American gospel group The Wardlow Brothers (TWB), who are best known for their Gospel hit records “Right Now Lord, and “Here I Am To Worship,” along with other black actors and actresses such as: Bill Cobbs, Sweet Brown, Robin Givens, Tyler Humphrey, Reginald Vel Johnson, Taylor Faye Ruffin, and Gerald Webb.
