A model and actress who worked on a video shoot with famed rapper 50 Cent has filed an $11 million defamation lawsuit against him saying he is trying to “blacklist” her from working.

Sally Ferreira filed the suit in Manhattan Federal Court against the rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson III, following a blow-up in March. The court papers claim that Jackson blamed Ferreira for leaking photos of the “Big Rich Town” shoot, which led to rumors the pair were dating.

Jackson posted to his Instagram account, attacking Ferreira along with a picture of her saying:

“WARNING: Do not attempt to work with this thirsty Video bitch [Her name is Sally Ferreira and she’s a model…] she sent photos Of the video shoot to Media takeout Saying I’m in a relationship With her Can anyone say RESHOOT.”

Ferreira says Jackson “had no factual basis” to tell people not to work with her.  His statements have subjected her to “ridicule and scorn.” She also says she’s been in a serious relationship.

“Mr. Jackson knew his posting would be widely circulated and published to hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of individuals and entities,” the suit says.

50 Cent’s Instagram account has more than 1.8 million followers. Within 40 minutes the remarks had received 6,156 “Likes” and 850 comments, the suit says.

They were removed a few hours after the posting “in recognition of his wrongdoing,” the suit claims. However that didn’t stop “negative and hurtful” articles from being written about Ferreira, according to published reports.

Ferreira claims three pending jobs she was supposed to do on were put “on hold” as a result.

Ferreira has appeared in other music videos, including, “OK, You’re Right” and “I Like The Way She Do It,” for 50 Cent and “Monster” by Kayne West featuring Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj.

Jackson could not be reached for comment.
