Cynthia Bailey writes an open letter to Nene Leakes

There was a time when Nene Leakes and Cynthia Bailey were like two peas in a pod. They had sworn that they would have an undying friendship and they were literally inseparable.

But, it didn’t last.

All good things must come to an end – and so too must mediocre ones. Not too far down the line the two women found themselves at odds with each other, to put it in a polite way.

The, somewhat, kinder and more forgiving Cynthia played the part of the forgiving and more levelheaded partner in the relationship, while Nene was the evil and conniving one.

Take for example the fact that Nene tried to get Cynthia fried from “Real Housewives of Atlanta” while she was on the late-night talk show “Watch What Happens Live“, by telling the host, Andy Cohen that she didn’t add any value to “Real Housewives of Atlanta“; a deep stab in the back, if there has ever been a deeper one.

Now, Cynthia has sat down and penned her thoughts and feelings about the whole situation in an open letter published in Uptown Magazine.

She says that the whole reason that she came to write the letter was because, “Since the airing of the “Watch What Happens Live” episode featuring my fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Nene Leakes that essentially gave her a platform to show how vindictive and vicious she can really be, I have been bombarded with questions and requests for interviews about my views on what really transpired between Nene and I, and why our friendship ended.”

Cynthia then tells how their friendship was genuinely fine and how they were never apart from each other, how, after joining the cast of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” she gravitated towards Nene and was sure that everything was just fine.

The letter then moves on to the gory details of how things started to go south, the famous “Bitchgate” incident that brought her husband into the fight and how it all ended.

Some people might find more drama in the letter than in the actual show, therefore, you can read the whole heartfelt letter by clicking here.
