Fox Detroit news reported on News Year Day, 25 year old Brandon Glenn shot and killed his wife, Milena Moore of Southfield, Michigan. The couple got into an argument and 45 year old Bettye Adams stood nearby. Bettye Adams is the mother of Brandon Glenn.

The argument between Glenn and Moore heated up. Moore tried to leave their home when Glenn shot her. Sources say Adams put Milena’s body in her car and drove off. Adams was supposed to be heading to a local hospital, where Moore could be treated.  Adams has stated to sources that she panicked, fearing the police would blame her for the crime, she instead drove home.

The body of Milena Moore, 23 was later found behind the wheel of the car in her mother –in-law’s driveway on 17300 block of Lenore Street. The Moore family has stated that Milena was trapped in a violent relationship. The family hopes the death of Milena will serve as warning for others trapped in vicious violent relationships to get away and seek help. African Americans, especially African American Women, suffer deadly violence from family members at rates decidedly higher than for other racial groups in the United States. However, it is observed that research concerning family violence among African Americans is inadequate. Overall, African Americans were victimized by intimate partners at significantly higher rates than persons of any other race between 1993 and 1998. Black females experienced intimate partner violence at a rate 35% higher than that of white females, and about 22 times the rate of women of other races. Black males experienced intimate partner violence at a rate about 62% higher than that of white males and about 22 times the rate of men of other races. (www.americanbar.org)

Milena Moore had one son. On her Facebook page, Milena Moore’s relatives and friends mourned her tragic passing, remembering the victim for her big heart and gentle spirit.

Glenn is awaiting arraignment on a murder charge. His mother faces a count of aiding in a crime.

This is a sad tragedy, where black on black crime no one is the winner. The child lost his mother. Father and grandmother. Because we react to fear and emotions. Think about what to do before you do it. We place no value on our lives so why should we care about someone else life.

So true. Matter of fact pink people kill their entire families. In-laws included. Stop letting these sites trying to force feed us manure concering our people being the worst of worst in all negative situation. And I still believe a lot of these unsolved “so called” drive by gang related shootings are outside instigators. It has happened before and I put nothing past the powers to be.

What the hell is Daisy’s problem? You check your statistics black women experience domestic violence at a rate of 35% more than white women and most other nationalities! But hey if your so damn upset, please take the crown and trophy and run with the freakin banner! Such damn hostility a young woman was murdered and that’s all you can focus on? Hell even in violence m-fer’s want the focus to be on them. I’m looking at the damn stats and they run between 31-35% higher than any nationality. How freakin stupid that through that story that was your focus. Truly f-ed up. God bless the young woman and her family and I hope the bastard son and bitch mother get put under the damn foundation of the prison.

We must be born again, other wise we will all LIKEWISE perish.

We have many issues that we need to leave behind right now, today.

When we leave here, whatever we are will go with us, therefore “We MUST be born again. Think just like Jesus Christ who showed us the way INTO THE KINGDOM. Do like Jesus Christ. Decree and declare that I came so that we may have life and have life more abundantly.

Can we ever have a conversation about OUR own mess without dragging white people into it? So because white people do something ignorant or dangerous justifies OUR doing the same? Do yall want to BE white people? Didnt back in the day black parentS teach their kids to be BETTER than them? Stop using them as an excuse and a crutch to justify dysfunction in black america.

It is not that we are using anyone for a crutch and I do not think most of us want to be anything like the pink people. But the converstion always turns to “Descendends of Africa” are the worst of all and I for one am tried of reading this. Growing up the idea was that Descendend of Africa men were beating the heck out of his lady while the pink man was treating his lady like a princess. Well low and behold behind closed doors the pink man was the one that was beating the heck out his lady. Abuse was brought into the light after someone in the Reagan admin. was forced to resign for spousal abuse. So I will always come to the defense of Descendend of Africa men. Sure they abuse and murder and it is wrong. But to continue to say they are worse than other men makes me darn angry. And I’ve been involved in a couple of abusive relations. That is the point that we are trying to get over. Any number can be crunched. And to read others repeating the crap is indeed maddending. As a whole Descendend of Africa men and women are marvelous.

These two deserve to be in the same cell. The young lady was beautiful. Some one said she should have left. Thats what the article said she was trying to do. Any counselor will tell you that is when your life is in most danger. The abuser knows you have finally awakened and if one does not have a good escape plan this is what happens. I hope they both get what they deserve. A long time in prison!!
