Apparently Madonna likes to drop N-Bombs too.  In a move that has upset quite a few people, Madonna now feels it is OK to refer to her son as “disn-gger.”

The Grio reports that a picture of her son during boxing practice was posted on Instagram and the caption read: ”No one messes with Dirty Soap! Mama said knock you out! #disn—a.”

She received negative feedback concerning her ill-conceived use of the racist term and quickly deleted the picture. However, she did respond “Ok, let me try this again. #get off my d–k haters!” What a response.

To quote one Instagram user: “Why do u think it’s EVER appropriate for ANYONE to use the word?

!! Total disrespect.”

Eventually, Madonna did issue an apology. “I am sorry if I offended anyone with my use of the n-word on Instagram. It was not meant as a racial slur…I am not a racist.”

This use of the n-word is an age old debate regarding who can say the word and who can’t. Even TMZ had a poll recently asking who should be able to use the word. It seems like some  folks are to the point they would like to use the word in casual conversation. Their defense is that blacks use it in songs and every day conversation. ESPN had a discussion in 2013 about dropping n-bombs, because many athletes detonate the word in mixed company.

This isn’t the first time that Madonna’s parenting tactics have come under scrutiny. She previously posted a picture of her under-age son drinking with friends; Rocco is just 13-years-old.

Madonna is no stranger to the world of race relations and has even spoken about her relationships with black men.  In an interview for Spin magazine in 1995 Madonna said she was treated disrespectfully as a woman by the black men she dated (she previously dated Dennis Rodman).
