Homeowners Association wants to Freeze and Garnish Porsha Williams’ Bank Account

Things don’t seem to be going too well for “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams.

On December 5th, 2013 reports came out that Williams’ marriage to former Pittsburgh Steelers star Kordell Stewart had come to an end after just two and a half years. As part of the divorce settlement, Williams continues to get a monthly check of $5,000 as spousal support.

But, what is even more surprising is that Williams had been reportedly sued for about $18,000 in 2012 by her former condominium association. By the way things look, they’ve done just about enough waiting and are asking to get paid immediately.

The Grandview Homeowners Association claims that Williams lived in the posh Buckhead area from 2007 to 2012, even after she had married Stewart in 2011.

According to reports, it was while living in the three-bedroom, two-bathroom, high-rise complex that Williams had fallen behind on her dues.

The homeowners’ association is now requesting that her bank account be frozen and that the money that goes into it be garnished to settle her outstanding bill of $17,959.

At present, Williams’ only income is the money she gets from “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” And from the look of it, she might be going on to make a decent amount. The show has had its best rating ever this season. On average, it had 3.3 million viewers per week in overnight numbers.

It has also been reported that Williams has now moved into her mother’s place – a noticeably huge step backwards when taking into consideration the fact that, on the reality show, she had just moved into a sprawling, 8000 square foot rent-to-own mansion.

Stewart, an afternoon host at sports-talk station 92.9/The Game, filed for divorce stating irreconcilable differences and that the marriage was irreparable.

Williams, at the time, stated that she hadn’t seen it coming and that she was blindsided.

Porsha, it is “grow up” time. You need to sit down and have a talk with Kandi about living above your means. Find something to do to make some money $5000 is no money for someone like you, but I would suggest you spend $2500 and bank the rest! Good luck!

Why was she trying to live above her means? Then you go and move into an 8000 square foot house by yourself? Come on stop with the foolishness. If she knew she owed $17,000 in back dues, why would she then go and move into a mansion that she knew she couldn’t afford? Stop trying to impress people and live how you can afford to live.
