Looks like Chris Brown is headed back to court for a status hearing in the case of which he reportedly hit a man outside a Washington, D.C. hotel while interacting with fans.

The incident which occurred back in October sent the singer to jail after the alleged victim, a 20 year old man from Beltsville, MD, accused Brown of hitting him outside the hotel when he attempted to photo bomb Brown who was posing for a photo with a couple female fans.

The police report stated that Brown told the man, ‘I’m not down with that gay [expletive]’ and ‘I feel like boxing,’ right before Brown allegedly threw a punch at the man.

Chris Brown along with his bodyguard now face separate charges of misdemeanor assault. Initially, a felony charge was entered, but the judge reduced the charge in court.

Brown is expected to appear in court again on Wednesday afternoon. This appearance is actually a rescheduled court date after his lawyers argued to reset the date in lieu of forcing Brown to leave his anger management rehabilitation. Brown had been ordered to undergo three months of rehab by a different judge in November.

When Brown allegedly punched the man outside the W Hotel, he was on probation in California for the domestic abuse assault of Rihanna, who he was in a relationship with at the time. When the charges were filed against him in Washington, D.C., a judge in California issued a revocation to his probation there, but that ruling did not affect the requirement of rehab and community service issued.

It’s been a long, hard road for the R & B singer, Chris Brown. I truly hope this young man can finally get his life together. He has too much talent to see it wasted on foolishness.
