Meagan Good has had a long –standing career in both film and television but she may have yet to face her biggest challenge. According to the Grio.com the “Anchorman 2” actress says she would welcome the thought of playing Whitney Houston in her biopic. Good was on the Arsenio Hall show when she revealed this information while going through possible future roles she could take on.

“I’d love to do a life story. I’d love to do Whitney’s life story,” said Good.

According to E Online, the 32-year-old actress was already in talks to portray the late singer last year around the time she died. Good actually knew Houston through Good’s husband who was an executive on Houston’s movie Sparkle. She says she got to know a little more about Houston than most do not.

“For anybody spending time around Whitney she’s so much fun,” Good told E! Online.  “She’s got like just a sassy attitude and very funny and funky.”

Whitney Houston was a Grammy-winning singer and actress. She was always known for her talented and powerful voice which sold out arenas worldwide and even landed her the coveted spot of singing the national anthem at Super Bowl XXV. Despite her huge accomplishments she was almost equally plagued by controversy. Throughout her career she was rumored to be a drug abuser with her equally controversial husband, R&B singer Bobby Brown. Brown and Houston divorced in 2007 but they both pursued their own careers. On February 11, 2012, Houston was found dead in a hotel room from an accidental drowning.

Meagan Good will not only have the challenge of bringing to life such a powerful character but also matching the voice. Good says she would not do her own singing and suggested that the studios actually use Houston’s voice in a lip syncing fashion. No other details have been revealed about the film.
