NeNe Leakes, one of the most verbose and formidable personalities on television, has taken the world of entertainment by storm again. Leakes is silencing her critiques as her newest reality show soared to the top spot after its premiere Tuesday on the Bravo network.

Leakes, no stranger to the television camera, has enjoyed great fame since making her debut on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” show. Of the various spin-off programs such as Kim Zolciak’s “Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding” and Kandi Burruss’ “Kandi Factory,” Leakes’ show about the pre-planning and wedding process has earned the highest rating to date.

“I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding” earned 1.56 million total viewers. Of those, 740,000 viewers make up the 18-49 female demographic that is highly coveted by advertisers because of their influence and spending power.

Leakes initially divorced her husband Greg. However, after an intense period of reconciliation, counseling and courtship, the two both agreed that their lives were better together rather than apart.

The show attempts to show a more intimate side of NeNe as she explores her own vulnerability and concerns about re-entering into holy matrimony. The star, who is not shy in front of the camera, makes it very clear that she wants this second time to last forever.

In true fashion, the premiere episode was full of drama, humor and as one would expect, loving and touching moments shared between NeNe and her closest friends and family members.

Many industry leaders expect the show to help elevate Bravo’s overall ratings and continue to brand NeNe Leakes as a legitimate star. Even though viewers know how this story is going to end, each week promises to offer a new glimpse of NeNe as she transitions from being a single woman to being a wife again.
