Kim Kardashian Slams Katie Couric, Calls Her ‘Fake’

Kanye West’s feisty attitude has apparently rubbed onto Kim Kardashian. On Friday, the reality TV star uploaded an image on Instagram of a gift and a card from talk show host Katie Couric.

The card reads: “Dear Kim and Kanye, Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl! As a moth [sic] And may I humbly suggest the K tradition for na [sic]. Fondly, Katie Couric”

While the the (cut-off) message in the card appears to be warm and friendly, Couric recently told InTouch that she’s still puzzled as to why the Kardashian family is so popular.  “I don’t understand — why are they so famous? I think it’s mostly teenage girls that are interested.” Couric’s remark obviously didn’t sit well with Kim. The new mom uploaded the photo of Couric’s gift with the hashtags: #IHateFakeMediaFriends and #MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkShit. The image of the gift, card, and Kim’s hashtags are below:

Typically speaking, Kim dodges negativity and plays mum about most controversial matters. It appears as if motherhood and/or Kanye West have given her more courage and/or passion to speak on her feelings. While Couric’s remark could be perceived as an outright diss to the Kardashian family, one could revere it as an honest, harmless opinion.
