Zimmerman Juror Apologizes to Trayvon Martin’s Family

Now that the trial of George Zimmerman has come to an end, the jurors are starting to speak to the media.  Yet another juror has spoken up, this time apologizing to the parents of Trayvon Martin saying that she feels that Zimmerman got away with murder.

Speaking with Robin Roberts, Juror B29 says that she wanted Zimmerman to be convicted of second-degree murder.   Zimmerman spotted Martin and thought he looked suspicious.  He then followed him, with a gun in tow and ended up killing him.  Martin was unarmed at the time and asked his friend on the phone why he was being followed.

The juror says that she had to vote to let Zimmerman go free because there was not enough evidence to convict him under Florida law.   The juror also broke protocol and allowed her face to be seen on television.  She says her name is Maddy.  Another juror had also spoken on CNN, but insisted that her face be obscured.

There are some who also believe that Zimmerman may face charges for allegedly having inappropriate s*xual contact with a young cousin since she was six years old.  The young woman also says that Zimmerman’s family has a negative attitude toward black people.
