Mother of Two Wakes Up From Coma Disfigured From Acid and Says Boyfriend Did It

After a 2-month long coma, mother of two, Christy Sims is awake. However, she looks nothing like she did before, and she says her now ex-boyfriend is to blame. Sims, 43, suffered burns to more than 20 percent of her body after having sulfuric acid poured on her face, neck, shoulders, arms and chest, and she wants the man responsible to be held accountable in a court of law.
“He didn’t actually fall, he just jerked forward and took the bowl and doused it in my face,” Sims said. “I ran immediately to the sink and started rinsing my face off and I yelled to him, ‘Please call 911.”
Sims, who was in the process of pursuing the career of her dreams as a substance abuse counselor, said she was called by her then-boyfriend into their bathroom. When she reached the door, she said she saw water on the floor and a bowl of an unknown liquid in his hands. She immediately knew something was wrong, she said. But before she could do anything, she was on fire. To Sims’ dismay, drain cleaner, “Clean Shot” was in the bowl.
In the call made to 911, Sims can be heard in the background screaming. After telling the operator that Sims had accidentally been splashed in the face with the cleaner he was told to put her in the shower and wash the liquid off of her as reported by WSBTV Channel 2 Action News. Sims claims the message was never relayed.
“I found out later, 911 poison control told him to rinse me off and I kept telling him ” please, my skin”. He said, they said to sit down and wait for the ambulance because if you rinse yourself off, you’re going to ignite the chemical,” said Sims.
Following the incident her boyfriend said it was an accident and that he fell, but Sims believes the act was done purposely because he knew that she was planning on ending the relationship.
“He made it to look like an accident. But you think about it, why would you put drain cleaner in a bowl?” she said.
“Why would there be so much water on the floor, when there was no water in the tub unless you put it there. I don’t think he was trying to kill me, I think he was trying to make me unattractive because he doused it right in my face…I have kids. I have a ten-year old and 13 year-old. They need me. There is no way I’m laying down. There is no way. I’m fighting.”
Although the investigation continues, a recent arrest warrant request was denied by a magistrate judge based on an insufficient amount of evidence to prove intent. In spite of the news, Sims fights to stay positive. “I keep the other side to all of this in my mind and know I will make it so I can help prevent other women from going through this.”

This guy is crazy and should be jailed for the rest of his life in a mental hospital. The behavior is exhibited doesn’t represent all Black men or relationships. He lacked self-respect, confidence,pride& common sense. We all have to be careful when share ourselves with soneone. Sister u are strong and I pray u have a great recovery. This is not how you treat a Black woman.

Christy: File a case in federal Kurt and with the US DEPT. OF EDUCATION OF OFFICE OF CIVIL RIGHTS even if you have to do it of I will help. I have filed 11 cases and 23 appeals for justice. Of course s lawyer is better. Keep the case alive, de, file, and recipe to keep it alive to get around that judge. Go to federal or state court. Until you get to the US COURT OF APPEALS OR SUPREME COURT. IF YOU ALLOW THE STATUE OF LIMITATIONS TO RUN OUT THEY. CAN NEVER REOPEN IT. LLwashing at hotmail .com.
