Two young lovers leaped to their death in front of a train for the sake of their love on Monday night from a New York train platform.

Police say that 21-year-old Ariana O’neal had recently ran way from home after her mother demanded that Ariana break up with her boyfriend, 25-year-old Davon Smallwood.

The couple was recently arrested in Queens Village, where they both live for allegedly heisting jewelry from multiple stores in the Queens area. Both of them had dyed their hair red as well.

Kinsley Senior, O’neal’s mother’s landlord, told the New York Post that Davon’s run-in’s with the law didn’t sit too well with her and thought Davon was becoming a bad influence on her daughter.

“Her mom didn’t want the boyfriend living with all of them. She didn’t like him,” explained Senior to the Post.

Residents who live near the Hollis Station at 193rd Street and 99th Avenue where the couple jumped, said they frequently saw Davon loitering around the area, sitting on a stairway leading up to the platform that would one day be the place of his death.

A witness told police she heard a loud “boom” as the pair was struck by a 80 MPH moving train at the Hollis station.

The MTA cop that arrived at the gruesome scene found a black garbage bag with clothes, a vodka bottle and a can of Coca-Cola accompanied with an illegible suicide note.

While most of the note could not be understood, one line said “Two great people are going to paradise…Everything will be good.”

Neither O’neal or Smallwood had ID’s, so police ran their fingerprints through the system to grab identification.

The couple leaves behind a two-year-old daughter.

A real Romeo and Juliet story…
