Mary J. Blige Bodyslammed with a $3 Million Dollar Tax Bill

Taxes are the biggest curse of nearly all celebrities in America.  You fall a little bit behind, and before you know it, you’re in a seriously bad situation.  Lauryn Hill just agreed to go to prison for her tax problems and now another diva is in trouble.

Mary J. Blige just go a tax lien from the IRS worth $3.4 million dollars.  She has made millions through the years and sold a lot of albums, but this might be the kind of mess that even she is unable to overcome.   It is reported that  Blige owes the IRS $574,904 from 2009, $2.2 million from 2010 and $647,604 from 2011.

In addition to her financial problems with the IRS, Blige also defaulted on her loan from Signature Bank.   She owes another $901,760 to the state of New Jersey and was also sued by Bank of America for not repaying a half-million dollar loan.

Blige may able to sell enough records and go on tour enough to deal with the debt, but when you have this much financial trouble, the courts get heavily involved.   We hope that she only has to deal with the civil courts, but criminal prosecution is not out of the realm of possibility.  It’s hard to go on tour while you’re in prison and leaving for that long can hurt your career.

Good luck to Mary J. Blige.

These entertainers need to keep better track of their money. You only need one or two houses and cars.

Save 10%, Tithe 10%, make very safe investments.

There are many whom have been in worse situations, only since they are not a famous it’s not in the news. Align yourself with the proper professionals and since the IRS wants to get their money, they will work with you on the right re-payment plan. In a few years she will be happy that she made the right move and still may be under the re-payment plan. Keep the IRS contacting you thru the mail and phone. Keep all your promises and if you can’t make sure to call and get an approval prior to just missing or defaulting on a promise. In the end she should be fine.

The IRS doesn’t just place a lien on you out of the blue. They’re suppose to communicate with you and offer you a chance to settle the matter in full or make payment arrangement. They must have made contact with her or her accountant. I will never understand people that have beyond the means to pay their financial obligations and still not be responsible. Al Sharpton is CORRECT, Black People ARE financially retarded. I have been completely convinced of such.

I have posted on the Internet, spoken to many, and here it is again! Blacks have, non-profits, churches, and entertainers, for years been targeted by the IRS (2003-2009); however, no one jumped up and down about them being watched.

As soon as Caucasians are under watch they yell and scream, they cheat on non-profit status (Aryan nations, white only churches and more), business and personal taxes.

Look out minorities you will continually be under the microscope.
