Chris Brown House Graffiti: Is He Being Targeted By Racist Neighbors Or Is It Really Scary?

By  |  215 Comments

cbSinger Chris Brown is in total disagreement with his neighbors about his expressive graffiti art on his house. His neighbors are saying that the spray painted monsters on his house are scaring the local children. Really? Are the monsters scaring the children or the parents?

Hollywood Dell Civic Association told the Los Angeles Times that it was the neighbors complaints that caused an LA official to fine Brown $376 for the disturbing masterpieces.

Brown says that his monster art is no scarier than what children are seeing in the popular mainstream.

He tweeted, “There are scarier creatures on Harry Potter Get a f__king life.”

The Hollywood Dell Civic Association told the paper. “There are lots of babies, lots of children, and they’re literally frightened. It’s like devils on the wall — big scary eyes and big scary teeth, and just the whole vibe is not what we’re used to. “

Brown now has a little under 30 days to remove the art. Under  the city’s ordinance, it is illegal to create murals on private properties. Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, is fighting the accusation, claiming that the city is completely avoiding Brown’s first amendment rights. But is the graffiti the real issue, or is Brown being hated on because he is a young black man with lots of money, living in a lily white neighborhood?

Brown just recently ended his on-again-off-again relationship with Rihanna, saying that he was too young to settle down, at this point. Maybe the graffiti explosion is a result of him celebrating his new found freedom from women and just his way of releasing stress.

I remember when they would let the kids out of school to go see a melanin rich copper colored man or woman be hanged. If one would look at the picture taken back then one can see the little young girls and boys watching a man and or woman be hanged.
Now when a melanin rich copper colored man moves into their neighbor they band together and try to take pigeon hole him into what they want him to be and do.
These people need to once and for all get over their hatred for the first ones on this earth us, melanin rich copper colored people!
Then find out where they came from…..they’ll be surprised!!!!

Melanin rich copper colored people? Funny stuff.

I would fireball that house if someone painted that ugly crap next to me. Nothing to do with skin color; just wouldn’t want to have to see that crap every morning after I paid millions for a home in that neighborhood. It’s a selfish, classless act by a selfish, classless “artist”.

That is what is wrong with this country now, everybody wants to do what ever the h*ll they want regardless of how it affects anyone else. Folks used to try to assimulate into their surroundings not anymore- and then want everyone to kiss their azz! Then they take no responsibility and make excuses and whine it’s because I’m black whaa. If you want your crib to look like south central be brave and do it there I’m sure all your homoies will think your sprucing up da hood!!

When you move into a certain type of neighborhood, one that is deed restricted, there are certain things you cannot do for I live in one, not upscale like his but one non the less but I can assure you there are those that are always pushing to change things, if you don’t want to follow the rules why are you stupid enough to purchase a home in this type of neighborhood? With Chris’ money he should have purchased 40 acres in the country and built a home whereas he could do what he wanted! Can’t go along with this one!

If the actions CB took wasn’t included in the neighborhood association manual concerning what is prohibited, then he’s good. Honestly this is some BS they are trying to pull, I agree with Ann G he should have purchased 40 acres and built his own house.

Step into the present, bro. If my neighbor was a White Supremacist and painted a huge swastika or a mural of Hitler on his fence for the whole neighborhood to endure, I would fireball that house too.

      PS.
It wouldn’t hurt you to brush up on your English composition and punctuation. Did the KKK take that from you too?
