beyBeyoncé wants to add to her family. Although daughter, Blue Ivy is the apple of her eye, she wants her daughter to have a little company.

Beyoncé told ABC News, “ I would like more children.”

She added, “ I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being big sister [to Solange].”

Beyoncé is very protective of her one year old daughter. She said “I just want to make sure that she can have a healthy, safe, normal life…in the back of my mind, she’s my priority. And life is completely different now. So I’m—I feel really, really just lucky that I can still do what I love, and now have a way bigger meaning. And that’s to be her mother.”

Blue Ivy is truly hip-hop royalty with her parents being the first billionaire couple of hip-hop. Already, the child is not leading a normal life, by default. Beyoncé and Jay-Z brought out all of the stops for their little girl. Blue Ivy entered into the world in a VIP hospital suite, in New York. Her father wrote a rap song about her, shortly after her birth and it went viral. She has traveled the world and was made an honorary citizen of Croatia. For her first birthday she received an $80,000 diamond encrusted Barbie doll. Her first birthday party alone cost $60,000 and her friends even received $20,000 worth of toys and accessories at the shindig.  If anything, Blue Ivy’s life is a clear indication of what’s to come for her future siblings. Beyoncé told The Mirror, “Definitely I would like to have more children. Motherhood has changed everything.”

Beyoncé is currently on the Mrs. Carter tour in the UK, which is set to end in June. She starts the United States leg of her tour in Los Angeles, in July.

While touring is exciting for the singer, she admits that is only a part of it, saying, “I feel this (superstardom) is temporary and my public life when I’m performing on stage is just a few hours of the day. The rest of the day I’m with my family, I’m changing diapers and I’m with my mother who reminds me, “Girl, you are not a Queen.” So it’s good to have some balance.”
