Asa Lovechild: Is Rihanna Burning Out? Star Booed After Keeping Fans Waiting For Three Hours

 ririhuhRihanna canceled her Boston concert back in March, due to laryngitis, which had fans already questioning if she was really sick. You would think that she would have it together the second time around. As it turns out nothing can be further from the truth. The singer bamboozled her beloved fans in Boston yet again by hitting the stage three hours later than scheduled.  For all of their troubles the fans were duped once again as Rihanna only performed for an hour.

Angry fans took to twitter to express their frustrations. One fan wrote, “Thank you @rihanna for playing an hour long concert and lip syncing the whole thing. I’m glad u “balled out” for Boston.”

Another wrote, “@rihanna show in Boston was a huge waste of time & money. She didn’t show up until 10:30, lip-synched almost entirely, & didn’t apologize!!”

According to the UK’s, The Sun , Rihanna threw more gasoline on the fire by thanking the fans for a great night. She later tweeted, “#BOSTON I will never forget this night!!! I truly have deeper love for you now!!! Thank you for making it extra special!! #DWT.” 

Instead of truly being worried about her fans, the singer chose to go back and forth on twitter  with Chris Brown.

Brown recently announced that the relationship with Rihanna was over and that at this time he could not be tied down to anyone. He tweeted, “Sometimes loving someone is too much! So loving from a distance will help everyone grow! Be blessed. Live ya life!”

This did not sit too well with Rihanna as she tweeted an hour later, “Settling is not an option! Nothing less than 100% loyalty, honesty, and respect!! Love ain’t for kidz #butimsleeptho.”

So what is really going on with the pop star? Her behavior within the past year has been erratic, to say the least. It is not a surprise that, like any other woman in love, she is hurt by the recent turn of events. However, it must be pointed out that Rihanna is traumatized, not just by the recent break up but by everything that has been going on with her since 2009 or probably even before.

If you add fame to the equation and having to please the masses around you, it is a sure recipe for disaster and meltdown, which is what Rihanna is dealing with. Aside from the incident that unfortunately or fortunately will not go away for Chris, he has chosen to leave her alone, finally.  The two of them getting back together was a disaster and only delayed the inevitable. The on again/off again relationship certainly did not help Rihanna heal and get herself together mentally and emotionally.

So where should she go from here? To a psychiatrist. Not trying to be funny, but as victims of abuse, women may think that they can handle it, pull themselves up by their bootstraps and think that they can simply get over it, but without really and truly analyzing and accepting what has happened, it’s like putting a Band-Aid over a wound and constantly ripping it off to expose yourself to more hurt. Eventually, you become numb to the pain and just decide to deal with it the best way you can. (ie. boozing,drugging, random s*x, lashing out, telling all of your business). It’s called covering up. Until Rihanna deals with herself, she will never be good for anyone around her, not just men, but friends and family included. She will eventually self-destruct and look back at life wondering what happened and how it got to a certain point. By that time it will be too late.

    She needs to take responsibility for her own poor choices,and people need to stop blaming Chris for all her problems. No body is forcing to do make bad choices. She has a whole entourage and family around her and none of them has the guts to correct her.

    And it’s a good Chris and Rihanna broke up. I always felt this was a one-sided relationship – Rihanna loved Chris more than he loved her. They are too young to be serious or to even consider marriage and it is a good thing one of them has recognised that.
