Music Executive Freeband Double D Gunned Down in Rush Hour Traffic

Music executive Freeband Double D was gunned down on Interstate 20 in DeKalb County, Georgia while driving his Maybach.

The shooting occurred during rush hour Thursday. According to DeKalb police spokeswoman Mekka Parish, witnesses say the shots were fired from a white SUV. 

 An off-duty police officer was the first to respond to the shooting. Double D was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition, but eventually died from his injuries. Double D is known for his association with rappers Future and Young Scooter.

No reports of possible suspects or motives have been released. The investigation is on-going and police encourage anyone with information surrounding the shooting to step forward. No arrests have been made.
