Actress Lauren London was known as the pretty face starring alongside T.I. in a film titled “ATL” and appearing in super producer Pharrell Williams’ music videos. London was the type of woman that most men had only hoped to spend time with, but after she became one of three women pregnant by rapper Lil Wayne in 2009, the actress’ classy, pretty girl reputation was instantly tarnished.

Although the rapper and London had been spotted together at basketball games in the past, it has always been unclear if the two were an official item or just casually dating. In 2011 interview, London confirmed that the pair were an item at one point and were even briefly engaged. “I met Dwayne when I was 15 years old. I’ve known him a very long time, and we were in a relationship that didn’t make it. We tried more than once to revive it, and we were engaged briefly years ago, but we eventually parted ways. People see the ‘Lil Wayne’ persona and think they know who he really is. My son’s father is an intelligent, loving and lovable person who will always be a dear friend. That is all.”

After giving birth to her first child and Lil Wayne’s third child, London got back to work and quickly landed opportunities as if she’d never skipped a beat. The biracial actress of an African-American mother and a Jewish father, landed the cover of  Jet magazine anf discusses she and her son’s siblings’ mothers and spending time with her son. The issue is slated to be released at the end of the month. Read the excerpts below:

On having a good relationship with Lil Wayne’s other children & their moms:
People like to make it into this big thing, but it’s really not. There’s peace and love and my son knows his siblings. We all get along. We all clearly keep getting along. I’m tired of talking about it. What else do you want me to say?

On addressing rumors:
I’m very blunt and honest. I have a very loyal heart. If I love you, I ride for you if I don’t fúck with you, I don’t fück with you…If you want the truth, call me.

On raising her son:

I’d much rather wake up with my son and make him breakfast or go to the park… it’s the little things I enjoy. Im going to try my best to provide a normal childhood for my son. I’d rather him choose the public life on his own.

Laura London seems to be a bright young lady, so I’m baffled as to why she would think that people would not immediately judge Lil Wayne by his public persona. Everyone has a professional and private life, but when you have lyrics in your music that say you want to “bleep” every girl in the world and in your private life you have children by three (3) different women, and when you use a very sensitive and tragic event in black history to make a sexual point and you refuse to apologize, what in the world does she expect people to think??

If he is as loving and intelligent as she says, then both his professional and private life would reflect that. No self respecting black man would stoop so low to disrespect his own black women and his own history. There is nothing loving about that.

I wholeheartedly agree. As I stated earlier, it’s about the money, or in Lil Wayne’s case, “Dirty Cash”(check out the song from the 1990’s by the artist Stevie V).

Unfortunate for everyone…including the public. She doesn’t want to talk about it and we don’t want to see it. When will people learn you can’t mix your DNA with just any creature.

I am in shock because I was unaware she had a relationship let alone a baby with Lil Wayne! What was she thinking he’s such a a hole. His percent for disrespecting dark skin black women and people who lost their lives to make ours better is unforgivable! SMDH

She can be as tired as she wants to be. Anytime you are having a child by a famous person who has two other women having his child, at the same time, prepare yourself for a lifetime of questions. When you’re in the “public eye” you need to think about the ramifications of those types of actions, first!
