Kelly Rowland on Beyoncé’s “Bow Down”: ‘It’s Her Expression’

Kelly Rowland defended Beyonce's record "Bow Down," saying it's her expression.

.

Kelly Rowland is standing in solidarity with her sister Beyoncé and her decision to record the profanity-laced track “Bow Down.” In a recent interview on Atlanta radio station V103, Rowland said: “I’ve heard pieces of what she’s done. She’s heard things that I’ve recorded and I just think it scratches the surface to everything else. I think it’s a great record. It’s her expression. I think, as an artist, you can express yourself however you want to and I just can’t wait for everybody to hear the rest of the record. It is insane.”

Not everyone is happy with the record. Beyoncé fans and “haters” alike are shocked by the singer’s decision to record the song. R&B singer Keyshia Cole went public with her criticism of the record on Twitter. Cole took to the social media platform saying, “Women need to Stick together” now b*@$ better Bow. Smh. But it’s all G! Chicks stay shooting the sh**. But when I speak my mind its a prob. #Well #StayMad” She adds, “Can’t stand when people all self righteous when it’s convenient it makes them look good. Lmao! But can still talk sh**when convenient 2 FOH….I done kept it real from the start! #RespectTHAT”

The song is strikingly similar to something Beyoncé’s husband Jay-Z would rap, as its a self-appraising “you wish you were me, but you’re not,” typical rap song produced by Hit Boy.

Im at that H town, coming, coming down,
I’m coming down
Get it on the ground
H town, im coming down, coming down
Get it on the ground

I know when you were little girls
You dreamed a bee-ing in my world
Dont forget it, dont forget it
Respect that, bow down, b-tches

I took some time to live my life
But don’t think I’m just his little wife
Dont get it twisted, get it twisted
This my sh-t

Bow down, b-tches
Bow down, b-tches
Bow down, b-tches
Bow down, b-tches

H-town b-tches, H-H-town b-tches

I’m so crowned, bow, bow down b-tches

Im at that H town, coming, coming down, im coming down
Get it on the ground

Im at that H town, coming, coming down, im coming down
Get it on the ground
H town, im coming down, coming down
Get it on the ground

    She has lost her damn mind.she isn’t all that…. the media has her this way… I don’t purchase her music for a reason… she is a performer… not a singer… get real…

The industry (THEY) owns her and controls what she and her husband say and do. Talk about selling your soul. THEY can make her eat dirt. Stop looking up to the “stars”. THEY own them and will own you through them.
