Jermaine Jackson’s May Go to Jail Over $30,000 in Child Support

Jermaine Jackson hasn’t had a hit record in a very long time, and may find that the child support courts aren’t willing to show him any mercy.   The brother of Michael Jackson, who is also being treated as a deadbeat dad, is behind by $30,000 in his child support payments.

Jackson is now 58-years old, and was supposed to pay his ex-wife $3,000 per month in child support payments for his two teen sons, Jermajesty and Jaafar.

But the man who took the time to give his sons very strange names that sound oddly similar to his own doesn’t have the time to send his child support payments.  Courts say that Jackson is a year behind in his payments, and he’s now in serious trouble.

Jackson also changed his name this year to Jacksun.  This strange move may have been to help him to avoid legal troubles.  He has paid only $5,621 in payments over the last year, and TMZ says that he owes another $30,378.   Jermaine may now be held in contempt of court and sentenced to 60 days in jail over the offense.  He would get 12 counts of contempt, one for each month he has refused to pay.

This is not the first time that Jermaine has gotten into trouble with the child support authorities.  Back in 2011, he was ordered to pay $80,000 in back support.   The singer said at the time that he wasn’t making the payments because he wasn’t making any money.  Jackson married Alejandra back in 1995 after she stopped dating his brother Randy.  She also has two kids with Randy, so apparently, she loves the Jackson family in more ways than one.
