Beyoncé Kicks Off Tour In Racy Bust Of An Outfit

bey416Beyoncé’s   Mrs. Carter Tour kicked off in Belgrade, Serbia with a bang or shall we say with a bust. The singer donned her raciest outfit to date, leaving some critics wondering if the outfit was a bit too much. Although the gold sequined outfit was not actually revealing her exotic extremities, it left nothing to the imagination. The bodysuit was set off by a pair of tromp l’oeil breasts pads.

The outfit, definitely not one of her mother,Tina Knowles’s designs, was just one of many outfits that was created by a team of celebrity designers. Those designers include British designer, Julien MacDonald, Emilio Pucci, Peter Dundas, Dean and Dan Caten, and Ralph and Russo. For the rest of the concert, Beyoncé’s outfits were a bit more toned down.

Her footwear was specifically designed for the dancing diva by Stuart Weitzman. Weitzman told People Magazine,  “I’ve been doing shoes for so long for her, we’ve learned what she needs,’ that includes heels ‘of a special width for her to dance on’ rubberized soles ‘so she’s not slippin’ and slidin’ around’ and extra padding inside.” He added, “She really is interested in the way the shoe feels on her foot.  She absolutely has the impression of not being willing to suffer, no matter how the shoe looks on her foot.” Other outfits for the night included a mesh-paneled bodysuit with gold rope detailing, a crimson gown, a white beaded bodysuit, and many others throughout the night.

Beyoncé has 64 more shows left on her tour which spans Europe, South America, and North America. The British leg of her tour finishes at the end of May. She will then take a month off before hitting America.  Just recently H&M released its summer campaign that features the singer. Beyoncé spoke about the campaign saying, “I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun and affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements – fire, water, earth and wind.” She added,“It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial.”
