Regina King Issues Cryptic Tweet after Rumors of Nasty Breakup with Malcolm
A couple of days ago, it was reported that actors Regina King and Malcolm Jamal Warner had called it quits on their two year relationship. Even more embarrassing were allegations from an insider that the breakup was ugly, with Malcolm telling Regina and her young son to get out of the house.
Now, Regina appears to be denying that there’s a problem. On twitter, she issued this statement:
“Hey everybody PLEASE don’t believe everything you read. Me & @MalcolmJamalWar are good. Life happens. Forward motion. Godspeed”
Here’s the thing: Is she saying that they are still together or that they they are friends? She is telling her fans not to believe everything they read, but doesn’t deny the entire report. Not that this relationship is anyone else’s business, but it appears that Regina might be doing some of her own spin. A better tweet might have been one that says, “We’re still in a relationship and the relationship is good.”
Our advice? Don’t believe everything people tweet, remember the Lil Wayne hospital tweets that some believe actually came from London? It’s hard to tweet from London when you’re connected to a breathing machine in Los Angeles.
