Beyoncé Lands Another Gig, Dines With Blue In NYC

Beyonce has landed a new gig as the face of H&M.


If you could think of one word to describe superstar Beyoncé, it would probably be “busy.” This year the performing artist has hit the ground running with project after project.

First she released her intimate documentary titled “Life Is But a Dream,” giving fans an inside look into her life as a business woman and superstar before and after giving birth to her daughter. She also announced a tour titled “The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” that is slated to kick off in Europe on April 15. She announced her partnership with Pepsi, making it one of the most lucrative contracts in history. She performed at the 2013 NFL Superbowl. She then announced her role as a voice actress in the Disney film titled Epic. And now she’s the new face of H&M.

The European retail chain promises there are even more photos of the talented singer in a bikini, a sundress, and other summertime garb. The photo (above) is the first beachside print advertisement, photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The campaign was shot in the Bahamas in January. The ads will be placed on billboards and a television commercial is also expected. The clothes themselves will be available in stores and online in May. When the busy wife/mother/career woman isn’t working, she’s enjoying life with her one-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

The two were photographed on Sunday, March 24 having brunch in Brooklyn. The mother-daughter duo were dining at Buttermilk Channel and surprisingly, Beyoncé carried Blue without a blanket draped over her small body as she has done in the past. Blue appeared to be dressed more like her daddy Jay-Z with Timberland boots, jeans, and a jacket.
