iStyle’s Best Dressed Oscars 2013

Last year’s Oscar red carpet fashion were ran the spectrum from reds clashing with coral. Blues fought emerald greens, and column dresses went head-to-head with tiered evening gowns. It made for a kaleidoscopic red carpet. However this year’s fashions were nude and almost, I dare say quiet. Except for an occasional pop of color the trend was muted.

Last night at the Academy Awards, there was no escaping the array of pale muted tones that dominated early and lingered into the night. It seemed as if most of the female nominees got the memo that no-color is the color of the season. There were still a few fashion stars of the evening. I loved so many of the looks.
