Beyoncé In Revealing Video: ‘I Need to Go Listen to ‘Make Love to Me’ and Make Love to My Husband’

Beyonce's feature on GQ Magazine gives readers a glimpse inside the mind of the talented performing artist.

.

Beyoncé is one of those women that every man wishes he could marry and every woman wishes she could be. She’s beautiful, exceptionally talented, and filthy rich. And marrying Jay-Z, one of the most influential figures in hip-hop, surged interest in her even more.

Her shocking GQ cover spread has received a lot of compliments and criticism, but even more shocking are the intimate details of her career, her relationship, and her life (in general) that she shares in a candid interview with the magazine.

Read excerpts from the interview below:

On being a “control freak” with her career:

You know, when I was writing the Destiny’s Child songs, it was a big thing to be that young and taking control. And the label at the time didn’t know that we were going to be that successful, so they gave us all control. And I got used to it. It is my goal in life to be that example. And I think it will, hopefully, trickle down, and more artists will see that. Because it only makes sense. It’s only fair.

 On realizing her strength:

I now know that, yes, I am powerful. I’m more powerful than my mind can even digest and understand.

On exerting energy from anger to reach her goals:

I used to like when people made me mad. I’m like, ‘Please piss me off before the performance.’ I used to use everything.

On accepting she deserves the accolades and lifestyle she has attained:

I worked so hard during my childhood to meet this goal. By the time I was 30 years old, I       could do what I want. I’ve reached that. I feel very fortunate to be in that position. But I’ve sacrificed a lot of things, and I’ve worked harder than probably anyone I know, at least in the music industry. So I just have to remind myself that I deserve it.

On embracing her imperfections:

“Stop pretending that I have it all together,” she tells herself in a revealing video clip, looking straight into the camera. “If I’m scared, be scared, allow it, release it, move on. I think I need to go listen to ‘Make Love to Me’ and make love to my husband.”

B is a lovely lady, not such a big deal, I can find 10’s of thousands who are equally if not more attractive in any major city.

She has talent, she was pushed by her mom, stabbed her group in the back and has gone on to make it big. More power, not hate n.

Not sure how intelligent she is, maybe very, maybe not so much, she married Jay Z, and it was not for his smarts or intellect, ok, ok he has made a lot of money and it’s all about the money, why else would the President invite them both to the White house?? The President and 1st lady are not into his music, tell me I’m wrong!

People with low self esteem and no morals might want to be her, but I think you have that all wrong. I wouldn’t trade who I am for her or anyone else!!!!

Amen! Smart, educated women with class tend to emulate women like the First Lady. Speaking of her, I’m certain she’s disappointed in these pictures and I hope a reporter gets bold enough to ask her!

I can do something “Queen B” can’t do, eat fried chicken before I see her in concert and before she goes on concert.

Who gives a good god damn about these celeberities. Beyonce is cute as thousand of woman out here. If they are successful, good for them but how money does it put in my pocket or affect my community…..zero, it doesn’t so again why do I care. Matter of fact I just wasted my time writing this damn comment. At least she not selling drugs or committing a crime, I guess that is a positive aspect.

Stop worrying about others in the world. Start with yourself first. Make yourself a living legend in your own eyes. Lift your courage, will power, wisdom, passion and attitude. First help yourself find The Legend in you. It might take a while to discover your hidden legend inside, but when you do find it, you will be enlightened. Every thing will be clear and bright. Believe me, everyone has a legend inside.

She is very attractive and I would love to hit it. But I ask myself why is she attractive to me. Was I programmed to see her attributes as attractive? Have I been programmed to view people with stacks of that green paper as more important? Am I programmed? Humm….

Beyonce is a good looking woman, just like many other fully looking black women. She has some talent but there are others who are just as talented. Her mega fortune was basically builty upon her European looks(Quardroom). If she was a “Real” Looking Black woman she would be considered average. Well, if Beyonce can get rich by looking a certain way and exposing some flesh, “So Be it!”

@kookie. Well said kookie. Well said. It’s the European Quardroom. I’m so glad and hope our young people see these marionettes in the industry and they better not forget what they did to our precious sister WHITNEY.

YES, WITH I AM SURE A LOT OF HELP, SHE LOOK NICE, BUT ALL THAT FADE IN YEARS AND TIME. I LOVE ME JUST THE WAY I AM. NOT JUST BEY, BUT ALL THE WHITE WOMEN THAT SHOW THERE RUMPS TO THE WORLD ALL MEN WANT TO DO IS “HIT THAT” SAVE YOUR SKIN FOR YOUR HUSBANDS. AS I SAID I LOVE ME, I LOOK JUST FINE. WE ALL ARE GOING TO GET OLD AND DROP, THEN WHAT? HAVE THE SAME HUSBAND FOR 35 YEARS. GOD BLESS YOU YOUNG LADY, [BEY]

Wow another form of prostitution. Expose your body to make money. What kind of man would allow the world to see his wfe like that? Is that really the image she wants to give to her little girl. Beyonce is pretty, not drop dead gorgeous Ive seen better. I have to hand it to her sex sells and she is working it. Does she stop to think. All these other beautiful women that in my opinion are more talented and intelligent, they have real talent without selling their body to make a career. If she was to stop parading around naked would she be the diva they say she. Because truthfully I like a few of her songs but her music sucks to me and tired of the same dance routines. Beyonce needs a wake up call. No I don’t wish to be her. I’m satisfied with myself. If wanted to wish to be someone it would not be her. She has nothing I desire but maybe the money LOL
